Amazon's Streaming Video Coming

CEO of Amazon.com, Jeff Bezos, has made a statement about the launching of the new streaming video service for amazon.com in the next several weeks. It will be pay-per-view based streaming.

There also will be an integration between Amazon and TiVo so that users can rent video from Amazon's Unbox service. The difference between this streaming video service with Unbox service is that the video won't need to be downloaded to user's computer. The new service will start in U.S in a few weeks.

Amazon and iTunes has been compete each other as rival in digital media offerings. Bezos once said that this new service was taking direct aim at iTunes. So, let's just wait for the referee to say "And the winner is...".
